As an Artworker, you will be experienced in design, packaging artwork, and working with style guides. You will take ownership of the design and creative implementation process, incorporating guidelines into master artwork/templates to ensure design aspiration works across all pack formats. You will help and support the creation of all required master assets and feed into the style guide process where appropriate.
- Work closely with the Artwork Lead in the implementation of work and maintaining design and technical consistency across projects.
- Execute the implementation of master designs across a range.
- Have excellent brand and design awareness, ensuring consistent brand rollout.
- Responsible for the collation of all assets related to design adaptations for release to artwork.
- Assist in the process for locking down colours and building master templates/artworks appropriate to the print process.
- Hold range reviews with the Creative Artwork Lead to check consistency.
- Prepare packaging artwork, ready for pre-press/production.
Requirements:
- Excellent FMCG packaging experience.
- Expert knowledge of packaging artwork and associated printing technologies, from a background as a packaging/technical artworker or having print reproduction experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstration of precision and excellent attention to detail from photography, typography, and file setup to follow the client’s guidelines and requirements.
- Experience of building artwork from approved design concepts through to final print-ready files.
- A strong visual sensibility and consideration of brand identity.
- Demonstrates initiative, is creative, and contributes ideas.
- Flexible, adaptable, and calm whilst working under pressure.
