At Tjarks and Tjarks, creativity meets craft. For over 30 years, we’ve remained proudly privately owned, shaping bold, distinctive brands that don’t just sit on the shelf. We’ve been trusted partners to our clients for decades, helping them navigate the ever-evolving world of shoppers and retail by designing packaging that connects, competes and converts. From big ideas to flawless execution, we deliver a true 360° design-to-artwork approach. Our expertise lies in creating exceptional packaging for FMCG brands, particularly in food and beverage, while increasingly expanding into non-food categories.

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented designer with a passion for branding and packaging to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and executing packaging design across a range of food, beverage and non-food brands, working from initial concept through to refined, chosen designs. You will manage design projects from the initial briefing through to final presentation, ensuring all work is checked carefully and delivered within agreed deadlines. The role also involves working closely with Account Managers to ensure a full understanding of client briefs, as well as attending design and project briefings to contribute ideas and creative input.

  • Developing creative packaging design concepts for food, beverage and non-food brands
  • Translating client briefs into strong, commercially effective design solutions
  • Creating and refining design routes, including typography, layout, colour and visual assets
  • Working closely with Design Directors and Account Managers to develop and evolve design work
  • Responding to feedback and refining designs to reach the strongest creative outcome
  • Ensuring all work meets brand guidelines and technical packaging requirements
  • Participating in design reviews, brainstorming sessions and project briefings
  • Staying aware of packaging trends, retail environments and competitor brands to inform design thinking
