Average 38.61 hours per week working 3 days on, 3 days off, on a rotating basis across both day shifts (6:00am–6:00pm) and night shifts (6:00pm–6:00am). Based in Huyton, Liverpool.

28 days paid holiday per year including bank and public holiday allowance rising to 33 days upon 5 years' service.

As a Shift Leader - Electrical, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the converting lines to ensure optimal efficiencies are achieved. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of operators and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure seamless production operations. The role involves minimising downtime, enhancing efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of the operation.

Job Overview:

  • Leading a multidisciplinary team of operators.
  • Operating equipment to the required standards while achieving set production targets.
  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including tissue converting machinery, packaging equipment, and ancillary systems.
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults, implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely (including LOTO-PTW).
  • Collaborating with production teams to minimise downtime and address issues, while documenting maintenance activities and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
