Two of our lovely coaches are heading off on exciting new adventures, which means we’re now looking to welcome another brilliant coach into the TJ team. About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Gymnastics Coach (Level 1 or Level 2) to support our recreational and advanced recreational programmes. We have our own in-house award scheme and structured pathway, giving you clear lesson guidance while still allowing you to bring your personality and coaching style to sessions. You’ll receive full training and support to coach the 'TJ way', so your confidence grows quickly, even if you’re still early in your coaching journey. You’ll work with gymnasts of varying ages and abilities, helping them build skills, confidence, and a genuine love for gymnastics in a positive, safe, and encouraging environment. You’ll also be part of our annual Club Championships, with other paid opportunities such as holiday camps and private lessons.
Hours & Pay
- Part-time role
- Evenings & weekends
- Currently 3-5.5 hours per week available with an additional 3.5 hours available from July onwards.
- Level 2 coaches with competitive experience may be offered additional hours coaching our squad classes.
- Pay from £12.71 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver fun, engaging, and structured gymnastics sessions

- Communicate effectively with gymnasts, parents, and fellow coaches

Requirements
- Level 1 or Level 2 British Gymnastics Coaching Qualification (GFA or WAG)
- DBS check (can be provided)
- Safeguarding Certificate (can be provided)
- British Gymnastics Insurance (provided if expired)
- A genuine passion for gymnastics and working with children
