Are you an Audio Developer?

We seek a talented individual to join our XPERI Global Audio Innovation Business to develop innovative audio applications and technologies across mobile, PC, and consoles. You will work with an experienced Scrum team to design and build new products and integrations, leading development efforts across audio platforms.

A Day in XPERI as an Audio Developer:

• Develop and improve audio applications and technologies to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Collaborate with the SDK team to integrate and deploy audio technologies.
• Contribute to an innovative, team-oriented, problem-solving culture.
• Work across various audio technologies and platforms.
• Grow professionally within our expanding audio engineering team.
• Translate high-level requirements into manageable tasks.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in C# 9 / .NET 8 (or later) for WPF applications.
• Experience with XAML and modern GUI libraries (e.g., Material Design, XAML Behaviors).
• Knowledge of software architecture patterns (MVVM, Dependency Injection, Reactive Extensions).
• Experience with modern testing frameworks, source control (Git), and structured data formats (JSON, XML).
• A passion for developing high-quality software.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work remotely with team members.

Additional Skills That Are a Plus:

• Experience with Windows App SDK and WinUI 3.
• Knowledge of Windows Audio Architecture, Jenkins, and continuous integration.
• Familiarity with scripting in Unix Shell, Python, etc.
• Experience with API design, communication protocols (ZeroMQ), and XML Schema.

Education and Experience:

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years in software engineering.
