This is a great opportunity to step into a fast-moving, global business where you’ll build valuable experience in supply chain planning and inventory management.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting supply chain decision-making by analysing data, identifying trends and helping to balance demand and supply. Working closely with Inventory Controllers and cross-functional stakeholders, you will contribute to ensuring product availability and operational efficiency across multiple product categories. The role offers strong exposure to end-to-end supply chain processes within a global FMCG setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will partner with Inventory Controllers to prepare, interpret and act on data-driven insights, taking ownership of agreed inventory actions that support availability and performance outcomes. This includes maintaining Excel reports, coordinating stock transfers and working collaboratively with teams to plan and implement inventory movements.
  • You will extract and manipulate data from ERP systems, producing accurate and timely reporting across areas such as availability, stock levels and warehouse movements. Using this information, you will identify risks and opportunities, support decision-making and contribute to improving overall supply chain performance.
  • You will also be responsible for raising and maintaining purchase orders using AS400, liaising with suppliers to ensure supply aligns with future demand and updating data to reflect any changes.

About You

You are analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable working with data gained from previous experience working within a Supply Chain environment. You are well organised, able to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly with a range of stakeholders. You enjoy problem solving and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

You will have strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups, along with a basic understanding of supply chain or inventory processes. Experience with ERP systems such as AS400 and familiarity with inventory control methods or reporting tools would be advantageous but are not essential. A degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline is required.

What You Will Gain

This role offers valuable experience within a global FMCG business, providing exposure to international supply chain operations and cross-functional working. You will develop practical skills in data analysis, inventory planning and stakeholder collaboration, creating a strong foundation for a career in supply chain.
