Titchfield Digital Support is seeking a skilled, experienced Digital Technician to join our technical team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting digital systems and providing expert guidance to junior technicians.
Duties include:
- Lead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex digital systems.
- Diagnose and resolve high-level technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide expert support to both internal teams and clients, ensuring issues are resolved with minimal disruption.
- Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements and industry best practices.
- Be part of technical projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet client requirements and are delivered on time.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth execution of projects and service requests.
- Be responsible for resources and technical inventory for ongoing projects, ensuring you are equipped for all tasks.
- Assist with managing and tracking tools, equipment, and inventory using the Hilti On! Track system.
- Ensure that technical equipment is well-maintained and fully functional.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and assist in improving asset management practices.
- Manage customer relationships by delivering expert technical support and ensuring satisfaction.
- Understand technical needs and provide high-level solutions.
- Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in the management of site waste and recycling efforts.
- Work collaboratively with other team members and departments.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.
- Assist other departments with ad-hoc duties, as and when required.
- This role will entail working evenings and weekends.
What is expected of you:
- A relevant technical degree, diploma, or equivalent industry certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a senior technician or technical support role.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining digital systems.
- Experience with inventory management systems, particularly Hilti On! Track is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in technical tools and diagnostic software.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance in a technical environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various on-site environments and challenges.
