Our growing investment management team based in London are looking to take on a new team member to assist the team in the ongoing management of the centralised investment proposition comprising UCITs regulated funds and model portfolio solutions.
This is a unique opportunity for an Investment Operations Administrator to join Titan Asset Management's Alternatives team, a highly specialised team of two that supports both clients and advisers across tax-efficient investment solutions including EIS, SEIS, VCT and Business Relief products.
The role sits at the heart of the operation and offers significant exposure across investment operations, client services, finance, provider relationships and adviser support.
As a small team, we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, can take ownership of their workload, and is comfortable working independently whilst collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider business.
- Investment operations & data
- Maintain and update the central database with all client and investment data (pricing, trades, distributions, restructures and fees)
- Manage data across the investment book, including new and historic records
- Produce and maintain portfolio reports for c.250 clients (internal monthly reporting and external twice-yearly distribution)
- Provide monthly AUM reporting to the finance team
- Track and maintain investee company updates and provide summaries when required
- Finance & invoicing
- Support fee and revenue tracking
- Manage invoicing in line with the revenue calendar
- Liaise with the central finance team on P&L and reporting queries
- Client services (EPC)
- Act as the primary point of contact for EPC clients
- Manage client onboarding, including AML checks and documentation
- Oversee the investment application process and maintain accurate records
- Distribute client communications including portfolio reports, financial promotions and ad hoc updates
- Respond to client queries and support the Director with information as required
- Adviser & provider coordination (TAP)
- Liaise regularly with platform providers and advisers
- Manage investment raises and portfolio queries
- Track and maintain illustration records and open cases
- Reconcile provider data (monthly tracking sheets), monitor completion rates and raise invoices where needed
- Ad hoc support
- Assist with end-of-year tax return requests
- Support investment applications and general administration
- Provide diary management and inbox support where required
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have
- Previous experience within wealth management, financial services administration, investment operations, investor relations or client services.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling client information, investment data, reporting and invoicing.
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients, advisers or investment providers.
- Confidence using Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS and data reconciliation, alongside the ability to manipulate and analyse large data sets.
- Experience maintaining databases and working across multiple platforms and provider portals.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively without constant supervision.
- Strong written communication skills, including proofreading reports, presentations and client-facing materials.
Experience with tax-efficient investments would be advantageous, although not essential, as training will be provided.
More important is a genuine interest in investments, strong operational capability and a willingness to learn.
