We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experienced individual to join us as Concierge Team Leader at the Titanic Hotel Liverpool. Titanic Hotel, Stanley Dock, Liverpool is all about the restoration of one of the city’s most historic and iconic buildings. As a World Heritage site, it forms part of the Stanley Dock development overlooking the waters of Stanley Dock. The hotel has 153 stylish and spacious bedrooms, unique event space West Bay, Stanleys Bar and Grill, Rum Bar, Maya Blue Wellness and adjoining the incredible Rum Warehouse.

About the Role

At Titanic Hotel Liverpool, it is our goal to deliver an outstanding guest service. As Head Concierge, it will be your job to ensure that a timely, efficient, knowledgeable, welcoming and truly exceptional guest service is achieved. As the Concierge Team Leader, your main responsibilities will be:

  • As a Key Ambassador of the Hotel, ensure a warm welcome is delivered to all our guests, creating a seamless first and lasting impression of the hotel at all times.
  • Proactively service guests' needs with all there is to know about our hotel and the surrounding City, ensuring up to date information about the hotel's facilities and what’s going on around the city is offered.
  • To deliver traces to guest rooms to hotel standards.
  • Build and create strong community relationships, to ensure our guests receive an excellent service at recommended venues.
  • Be fully knowledgeable on all front office procedures and comply with all policies and procedures in place.
  • Have the ability to use all front office technical systems and retain knowledge of these systems.
  • Place orders for conveniences and organise delivery to allocated guest room.
  • Record and relay messages accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all guest questions and requests are completed and followed up on within a timely manner, maintaining an impeccable guest service at all times.
  • To be original and imaginative in creating a memorable experience of the Titanic Hotel.
  • Comply with and adhere to security procedures at all times to ensure guest safety and remain vigilant to potential security risks at all times.
  • Always thinking ahead in regards to guest needs and delivering wherever possible.
  • Supervise Concierge team and ensure team perform any tasks requested by Head Concierge.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times about the hotel and our guests.

The skills and attributes we are looking for in our ideal candidate are:

  • Highly organised, excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of business and people.
  • The ability to understand guest queries and to provide clear and concise responses.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate towards ensuring an impeccable guest service is achieved, along with a great sense of humour.
  • Be a great team player! Along with the ability to work and think independently.
  • The ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written English and the ability to calculate accurate mathematical information correctly.
  • An excellent attention to detail.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years hotel experience in a similar role in a hotel operation. Knowledge of Opera and Micros preferred.
