The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 € per year.

We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced Bar Supervisor to join our team in our Rum Bar at the iconic Titanic Hotel, Liverpool. As Supervisor, you must be able to deliver first class service and strong leadership whilst maintaining strong customer service at all times.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Complete working knowledge of the Rum Bar, the food and drink menu, wine list and any other special promotions.
  • Supervise the work of bar attendants and evaluate job performance, making recommendations accordingly to the Bar Manager.
  • Ensuring all drinks are consistently made to the Titanic Hotel Rum Bar standard, and can effectively train new/existing staff on the drinks menu.
  • Maintain all par stock levels as specified.
  • Spot-check all beverages sold and ensure they are properly accounted for at established prices.
  • Cash handling and following cash up procedures thoroughly ensuring that all floats and cash drops are done at the end of the shifts am/pm.
  • Maintain all food and liquor service standards in line with the Standard Operating Procedures of the Hotel.
  • Ensure safe use, maintenance and storage of equipment and utensils.
  • Ensure that the sale of liquor is discontinued at the hour decided by Management or law when they are on duty.
  • Able to confidently and professionally authorise the immediate replacement of any unsatisfactory drink item or to waive payment for the same in the absence of Bar Manager.
  • May be called upon during busy periods to assist other departments, or to extend their supervision to other areas in the absence of other managers.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of cellar management and stock rotation is a must.
  • Must be passionate about their work and committed to delivering high quality service to our guests.
  • Have full knowledge of Weights and Measures Act and Licensing Laws.
  • Solid experience working in a 4/5* establishment on a busy bar is a must.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all members of staff and guests.
  • Must be well presented at all times.
  • Must be reliable, loyal and have an excellent work ethic.
