Room Attendant
To ensure that guests’ bedrooms, corridors, and public areas are serviced to Hotel and Company standards.
Main duties and responsibilities
- To clean allocated departure and occupied rooms to the hotel standard
- Carry out scheduled deep cleaning programmes
- Maintain the cleanliness and stock levels of housekeeping trolleys
- Maintain cleanliness of storeroom areas and equipment
- To deal with guest requests promptly
- To report all lost and found items and ensure these are recorded in appropriately
- Report maintenance defects to the Housekeeping Manager
- Report sub-standard linen to the Housekeeping Manager
- Receive linen deliveries and deliver to stores across the hotel
- In accordance with your Supervisor the Job of the Day to be adhered to
- Ensure corridors and stairways are cleaned after completing allocated rooms
- To develop and maintain good working relationships with all departments in the hotel
- To attend all relevant training as and when required
- To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary
- Familiarise yourself with our Core Values TITANIC which link to the desired behaviours that we expect all our employees to display
- To have a thorough knowledge of and adherence to the law regarding the following company regulations:
- Fire regulations and procedures
- Health and safety regulations
- First aid procedures
- To ensure that you always comply with the company dress code.
- To undertake special duties or work outside the normal daily/weekly routine but within the overall scope of the position at the request of your Supervisor/Line Manager
