Titanic Hotel Liverpool is a stylish hotel located in the historic North Warehouse at Stanley Dock, just a short drive from Liverpool city centre. The property blends original warehouse features with contemporary accommodation, dining, and spa facilities. The hotel has 153 bedrooms, Stanleys Café, Rum Bar, Maya Blue Wellness and the impressive Rum Warehouse exhibition and banqueting space. Titanic Hotel Liverpool is close to major attractions such as the Echo Arena, Albert Dock, the Cavern Club, and key shopping and entertainment venues.

This is a full-time, on-site Event Manager role based at Titanic Hotel and Rum Warehouse in Liverpool. The Event Manager will deliver a wide range of events, including conferences, banquets, exhibitions, weddings, and corporate functions within the Rum Warehouse and other hotel spaces. The role will involve liaising closely with the Executive Chef, sales, catering, operations, front office, ensuring events run smoothly and safely. The Event Manager will oversee event set-up and breakdown, monitor event quality and guest satisfaction on the day. This is an operational role reporting directly to the Conference & Events Operations Manager.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in event management, conference and banqueting, or hospitality operations, ideally within a hotel or large venue environment.
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to understand client needs and translate them operationally.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, including managing multiple events, timelines, and priorities in a fast paced setting.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in leading briefings, coordinating teams, and resolving issues calmly.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in line with event schedules and operational requirements.
  • High attention to detail and a focus on guest experience, service quality, and health and safety.
  • Relevant qualification in hospitality, events management, tourism, or a related field is preferred but not essential with strong experience.
