Overview
The Senior Duty Officer will be part of a small team providing daily Duty Management cover at Titanic Belfast and SS Nomadic.
This critical team oversees day-to-day operations with a strong focus on health and safety, operational efficiency, staff and building presentation, and effective communication between staff and visitors.
They lead with crisis management and strategic planning to ensure smooth operations and an excellent visitor experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily Duty Management cover at Titanic Belfast and SS Nomadic; oversee day-to-day operations with a focus on health and safety, operational efficiency, staff and building presentation, and effective communication between staff and with visitors.
- Provide leadership, crisis management, and strategic planning to ensure smooth daily operations while continually enhancing the visitor experience.
- Coordinate with all departments to keep teams informed on planned events and activities across the building, the external plaza area, and SS Nomadic.
- Respond to emergencies, activate evacuation protocols, and manage the business effectively during duty shifts.
- Take ownership of specific areas outside the daily rota, contributing to the wider operational and strategic goals of the organisation.
