Job Title:Fabricator Location:Bristol (BS5) Hours:Monday to Thursday , 07:30 am to 16:30 pm and Friday 07:30 am to 12:30 pm Salary:£16.50 per hour Start Date:Immediate (Temp to Perm) Job Description Titan Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fabricators to join our clients dynamic team in Bristol (BS5). Key Responsibilities: To be able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings Assemble steel components using hand-held tools and equipment Understand and work to client specifications Operation of overhead crane and safe slinging and lifting techniques to assist Fabrications Work to SAM quality procedures Assist in the training and development of SAM apprentices Working to SAM Health & Safety requirements Welders to work on steel of varying grades and thicknesses marked up with weld details. Types of welding will be fillet welding and butt welding consisting of both full penetration and partial penetration joints. Welding in both down hand and in position. Predominantly using the MAG welding processes. Successful applicants will be expected to adhere to governing welding procedure specifications, To have a good knowledge of all aspects of welding operations such as application of preheat, control of interpass temperatures etc, and generally a good knowledge surrounding the process. All applicants will be required to carry out a minimum of two weld tests.
