We’re currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Technician in Plymouth with a well-established engineering and manufacturing business known for delivering high-quality components into aerospace, defence and other high spec industries. The Role
As a QA Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring products meet exacting standards and customer expectations.
- Inspecting components and assemblies against drawings and specifications
- Using precision measuring tools such as micrometres, verniers and CMMs
- Maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation
- Supporting internal audits and corrective actions
- Working closely with production teams to improve quality standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement across the business
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Quality or Inspection role within manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of ISO9001 or AS9100 is beneficial
- Confident using Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems
