We have a vacancy for a permanent, full time Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering team, based at London Stansted Airport, Essex.
Responsibilities
- The Reliability reporting of the aircraft fleet including the monitoring of Technical Dispatch Reliability and Availability
- Management of the Technical Occurrence Report process, include Root Cause analysis and recommend closure actions
- Prepare bi-monthly reliability report (Airbus family and Embraer family) based upon TDR/SAFA and component strip reports to identify any trends
- Investigate and recommend any product improvements based upon bi-monthly reliability reports
- Research component strip reports by use of the rotable parts providers IT system and liaise directly with the parts provider on issues surrounding any technical deficiencies with the parts provided
- Monitor SAFA findings and closure actions, produce weekly SAFA updates and deliver SAFA Training for Employees
- Assist during the ARC process to ensure all documentation supplied is accurate, assisting with any corrections
- Maintain and review IDE statements for accuracy, and update/amend accordingly
- In conjunction with the Technical Records Clerk, update the aircraft technical logs and archive Aircraft Technical records, in accordance with company policy and CAA regulations, in a manner suitable for an aircraft to be re-delivered back to a lessor or sold at short notice
- Under the compliance aspect, during Aircraft introductions and re-deliveries, compile/check/assist with the technical records including records surveys
- Any other duties as requested by the Systems Data Integrity Engineer, Engineering Director or the Technical Services Manager
Qualifications
- Must have a technical career in aviation (min. 5 years) or an Aeronautical Engineering Degree or Diploma
- Previous experience in a Part CAMO Environment in Reliability or Technical Support
- Previous experience with technical records in terms of aircraft introductions and re-deliveries
- Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance and defect rectification would be advantageous
- Knowledge of EASA & UK CAA regulations and familiarity with MPD, AMP and CMM
- Knowledge and experience in OASES, Skywise and/or Embraer AHEAD software would be advantageous
- Ability to work in a team and be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment with excellent communication skills
- Competent user of Microsoft Office suite and good office-based skills such as accurate filing, scanning and making complex arrangements
- Excellent attention to detail with tenacity to follow any issues through to conclusion
- Ability to reside and work in the UK. (Pre-settled, settled status share code or citizenship application will be required if shortlisted to interview)
- Ability to provide information for 5 year referencing
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening
This is a Monday to Friday role, working 0900 to 1730 on-site.
