We have a requirement for a permanent, full time B1 Licenced Engineer to join our Engineering team, based primarily at London Stansted Airport, Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completion of the tasks allocated on a shift by shift basis by the UK Station Manager or Shift Supervisor, in accordance with company procedures.
- Supervision duties in respect of the mechanics, handlers, Interiors Technicians and aircraft cleaners as allocated by the Shift Supervisor.
- Performing engineering duties Away from Base or at outstations as detailed by the Maintenance Manager or UK Station Manager.
- Operate as a flying engineer on flights that require such a function with the ability to depart with the aircraft at short notice.
- Ensuring that the cleanliness and interior trim of the aircraft are maintained to company standard.
- Ensuring that the engineering facility, vehicles and equipment are clean and serviceable and aircraft are positioned in the hangar or on the Titan designated parking area wherever possible.
Requirements:
- PART 66 Licence and a minimum of 6 months experience within the past two years, on at least two of the following aircraft/engine types: EMB190 GE CF 34, A320 CFM/V2500 Leap, A330 RR T700.
- Hold or obtain a recency letter from QA Department along with Company authorisation from most recent employer.
- Provide supporting Logbooks or worksheets demonstrating recency EWIS, FTS, HF (Initial recurrent).
- Previous line and base maintenance experience.
- Excellent communication skills with a flexible approach.
- Willingness to work away from base to support the fleet and company operations and to be able to travel at short notice as a flying Engineer or with AOG recovery.
- Shift work including nights, working a 5x5x4 shift pattern.
- Hold a full and valid Driving Licence.
- Hold a valid Passport with the ability to reside and work in the UK (Pre-settled, settled status share code or citizenship application will be required if shortlisted to interview).
- Be computer literate.
- Ability to provide information for 5 year referencing.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening.
This role requires access to operationally sensitive information and occasional airside access. Applicants will be required to successfully undergo background checking to BPSS level (including identity checks, right to work, criminal records check and 5-year employment history).
