Casual Sales Assistant & Mechanic - Alpine Bikes Glentress
We currently have a great opportunity for someone who has previous bike building/mechanic experience and is passionate about riding bikes and the delivery of excellent customer service to work as a full time Mechanic & Bike Builder in our Alpine Bikes department within our Tiso Outdoor Experience store in Glasgow.
The successful candidate will also have a degree of technical/mechanical knowledge of bike and having a Cytech Qualification Level 1 (or equivalent) would be an advantage.
What does a day look like?
Our store and workshop can be incredibly varied, and no two days are ever quite the same! However, you can expect to:
- Assembling a broad range of bikes to PDI standard
- Packaging and boxing bikes for shipping
- Repair and service bikes to the highest standards
- Perform pre-delivery inspections on customers' new bikes
- Share your expertise and connect with our customers as you assist them in purchasing the right gear to enjoy their ride
- Research and resolve customer issues
- Assisting with the general running of a busy bike warehouse so the successful candidates must be well organised and methodical
