About the Role
We are seeking a Cylinder Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. Your position is to provide timely delivery of products to our Air Products customers in a safe and compliant manner, within agreed processes and procedures. You will embrace Air Products core safety values, being the safest gas company in the world.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
- Pre & Post vehicle check in-line with DVSA guidelines and Air Products standards.
- Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.
- Maintain tachograph infringement level in-line with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations and Air Products standards.
- Other expected requirements in-line with Annex to Air Products Standard Services and Terms and Conditions of Employment for: Customer Service Operatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Licence minimum category C1 and FLT preferred.
- Proven driving experience (where required) and minimum three years consecutive driving experience.
- Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum (refreshed every 5 years).
- Valid (in date) Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status (where applicable).
- Proven track record of working within a safety-first environment.
- Able to work under own initiative with excellent communication skills.
- Proven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner and achieve best-in-class performance relating to safety and efficiency monitored and supported by digital vehicle data.
- You will need a licence to cover 7.5t and FLT licence delivering and collecting cylinders to customers throughout the Central Belt.
