This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys providing leadership in project analysis and related business decision support for investment activities in the Europe and Africa Industrial Gases Group. The supported business specializes in the supply of industrial gases via both dedicated plants and pipeline networks to a wide range of industries and segments across the region.

EXPERIENCE: Relevant financial background and proven experience with previous exposure to investment appraisal analysis
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree and/or financial qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
CONTRACT: Permanent

As the Financial Analyst, you will:
- Take leadership for project analysis and financial modelling in support of tender and contract negotiations, for both new business and rollover of existing business contracts. This will include cashflow analysis of often complex dynamics within capital investment appraisal projects, and may also include joint venture structuring and acquisition analysis.
- Provide core financial support to deal structuring, risk assessment and will be a key participant in driving internal decisions and seeking approval in line with corporate policies and governance.
- Have strong collaboration with the Commercial team, Senior management, Engineering and with the Accounting, Treasury, Tax and Law functions.
As the Financial Analyst, you already are or have:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or financial qualification (ACCA/CIMA)
- Proven finance experience with previous exposure to investment appraisal analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good modelling skills and an ability to create an analysis from a “blank piece of paper” based on business discussions
- Good systems knowledge (SAP, Analysis/BW) coupled with excellent Office skills
- High degree of initiative, ability to learn and efficiently manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a challenging fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact and communicate with all levels within the organization including senior management and other functions
- Languages: English (Good writing and communications skills). Any other second language would be a plus.
