Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities.
• Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
• Handle payments accurately and process transactions efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and surrounding areas throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow.
• Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper handling and storage of food items.
• Assist in setting up the dining area before service and resetting after closing hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; a friendly personality and eagerness to learn are key.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy service periods effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members.
• Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing purposes.
• Experience with guest services, upselling, and creating a welcoming atmosphere will be advantageous.
