We're on a mission to shape the next generation of scientists and technologists and that means we've got to keep every detail watertight. Our learners deserve an experience that's exceptional and compliant.

As Data and Compliance Integrity Manager, you're the guardian of our data integrity, the architect of our assurance processes, and the driving force behind continuous improvement. You'll lead our compliance operations, overseeing funding accuracy, audit readiness, and data quality ensuring we stay ahead of every rule change and regulation.

You’ll bring the perfect balance of precision and curiosity. You’ll thrive in the detail but never lose sight of the bigger picture. Using insight, automation, and process improvement to make compliance smarter, faster, and stronger. You’ll collaborate across teams to make sure compliance doesn’t just protect what we do, it empowers it.

You’ll use data not just to check accuracy, but to tell a story. Spotting patterns, identifying risks, and turning findings into improvement. You’ll make sure learners start right, every time. You’ll design, implement and oversee a compliant onboarding process, ensuring eligibility checks, prior attainment and evidence are complete and accurate.

You’ll design and maintain systems that keep compliance consistent from enrolment to achievement. You’ll implement regular file audits and data validation checks, ensuring everything stands up to DfE, Ofsted and EPAO scrutiny. You’ll help teams understand not just what compliance requires, but why it matters, building confidence, accountability, and consistency at every level.

You’ll be an experienced leader within compliance and know all there is to know about apprenticeship funding rules, audits, quality assurance and compliance. You’ll be commercially minded – acutely aware of the impact every learner, every number and every detail has on our business.

You won’t take data at face value. You’ll be inquisitive and curious, pulling the narrative from the numbers and proactively presenting improvements and solutions. You’ll be a first-class collaborator, educating others to streamline processes and directly impact every learner's journey.

About You:

  • Have been there and done that on Apprenticeship Compliance, Compliance Operations, Department for Education funding rules and regulations, Ofsted regulations and requirements, Exams and End Point Assessment.
  • Build trust through clear, open, and genuine communication not just with learners, but across teams.
  • Be the Architect and the Auditor. You balance precision with curiosity. You know consistency and discipline are the backbone of compliance.
  • Be Insight-Driven and Data Confident. You lead with data. Not just collecting it, but transforming it into meaningful insight.
  • Lead with Resilience, Groundedness, and Growth. You stay calm, balanced, and focused when things shift, modelling composure and confidence for your team. You take setbacks in your stride, learn fast, and turn challenges into momentum.
  • Lead with Trust and Empowerment. You take responsibility for outcomes, not just actions, setting direction, giving autonomy, and trusting your team to deliver.
  • Champion Technology as an Enabler. You embrace technology as a tool for connection, insight, and impact. You’re confident navigating systems like Aptem, Salesforce, and Power BI, and you encourage others to do the same.
