We’re partnering with a PE-backed luxury brand undergoing significant AI transformations and looking for an AI Vendor Manager to help shape and manage its emerging AI ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of AI, commercial strategy, and vendor evaluation. You’ll research and assess AI SaaS solutions, manage vendor relationships, lead PoCs and selection processes, and ensure the business is adopting the right technologies to support long-term growth.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across product, legal, procurement, and business teams to evaluate AI capabilities, challenge vendor claims, and drive informed build vs buy decisions.

Key responsibilities:
  • Research, shortlist and evaluate AI vendors against business use cases
  • Lead vendor selection processes including PoCs, RFPs and onboarding
  • Assess AI solutions critically, distinguishing genuine capability from market hype
  • Manage commercial relationships, contracts, SLAs and vendor performance
  • Support technical due diligence and evaluate alignment with AI strategy
  • Monitor the AI vendor landscape and identify emerging opportunities
Ideal background:
  • Experience in AI strategy, innovation, transformation, consulting, vendor management
  • Strong understanding of AI / Generative AI concepts and current market landscape
  • Comfortable engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience evaluating technology vendors, partnerships or SaaS solutions
