We’re looking for a Platform Engineering Lead to define and scale the engineering backbone behind a high-volume booking ecosystem. This is your opportunity to shape platform strategy, DevEx, reliability, and AI enablement.

Platform Strategy & Developer Experience

  • Create a clear, simple path for engineers to build and ship software.
  • Automate environment setup (Local, Stage, Prod) so developers can focus on writing features.
  • Hide Kubernetes and networking complexity behind easy self-service tools.
  • Improve CI/CD with automated testing and preview environments.
  • Take ownership of our Google Cloud setup and optimise for performance and cost.
  • Run and scale containers reliably (GKE / Cloud Run).
  • Ensure databases are highly available and can handle millions of bookings.
  • Optimise BigQuery and Redis for speed and efficiency.

Reliability & Security

  • Apply SRE best practices to keep the booking flow reliable.
  • Protect systems with strong edge security (Nginx, load balancing, bot protection).
  • Build for maximum uptime and zero data loss.
