A leading UK-based digital agency is seeking a Tech Lead with strong Drupal expertise to join their fully remote team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for delivering complex Drupal solutions, while also guiding technical decisions and supporting both clients and internal teams.
As a Drupal Tech Lead, you will take ownership of key projects, collaborate closely with clients, and help shape technical strategy. You will remain deeply involved in the code while also mentoring developers and helping drive project success. This is a great opportunity for a senior Drupal developer who wants to step into or continue in a leadership role, while still being technically active.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of scalable and secure Drupal 10/11 applications
- Lead technical discussions during client engagements and project planning
- Lead internal development teams to ensure delivery quality and timelines
- Contribute to hands-on Drupal development across back-end (and some full stack) features
- Work remotely with a distributed UK-based team
- Expert-level experience with Drupal 9–11, particularly back-end development
- Strong PHP skills and understanding of modern development workflows
- Comfortable working full stack when needed
- Proficient with Git/GitHub, Docker, AWS, and DevOps environments
- Proven experience in a Tech Lead, Principal, or senior development role leading teams or projects
- Salary: Up to £80,000
