We’re searching for a frontend engineer passionate about building complex, high‑performance web applications.
Tech Stack (Engineering Environment)
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, Vite, Zustand/Recoil, Tailwind (or similar), Web Workers, WebGL/WebGPU (nice to have)
- Paradigms: Event‑driven architecture, functional programming, real‑time data flows
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain complex, high‑performance web applications using React and TypeScript
- Develop interactive UIs for geometry exploration, real‑time simulations, and high‑density data visualisation
- Work closely with engineers and domain experts to transform intricate physical and mathematical concepts into accessible UX flows
- Use functional and declarative programming patterns to create composable, reusable, testable UI components
- Architect and maintain client‑side state management solutions that handle large, rapidly changing datasets
- Optimise performance using techniques such as memorisation, batching, Web Workers, and incremental rendering
- Own features end‑to‑end—from initial concept, prototype, and UX exploration through to production release
- Collaborate with backend teams to design efficient API shapes for event‑driven and streaming data systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- 2+ years experience building complex, production‑grade web applications
- Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling
- Experience working with Python
