New contract available for an experienced Automotive Test Engineer to join the R&D team of a prestigious luxury vehicle manufacturer in Crewe. Working across new vehicle programmes, you'll support the integration, testing and validation of Telematics, Connectivity, Infotainment & Diagnostic systems.This is a hands-on role covering:Development vehicles & test rigsVehicle software & system integrationTelematics, Connectivity, Infotainment & DiagnosticsTest planning & validationVehicle log analysis & root-cause investigationComponent and test bench testingTest automation using Python, Robot Framework & Anna FrameworkWorking with engineering teams and suppliers to resolve integration issuesWe're looking for someone with strong hands-on automotive experience, ideally gained within an OEM, Tier 1, dealership or vehicle testing/development environment.Previous VW Group experience would be particularly advantageous.What's on offer:Crewe, fully onsiteASAP start | Contract to 23 December 202635 hours per weekAttractive hourly rateFull driving licence requiredTiro is a specialist Employment Agency & Employment Business assisting with both contract and permanent opportunities in high performance cars, motorsport, software, electronics, engineering & manufacturing.
