Are you an experienced Manufacturing or Engineering professional with a passion for launch quality, feasibility and delivering right first time outcomes? We are looking for a Manufacturing Feasibility Engineer to support a major automotive programme within a dedicated Launch Quality Centre. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong CAD capability and automotive programme experience who can quickly integrate and add value.

What’s on offer:

  • Location: Hybrid (3 days per week on-site in Crewe)
  • Contract Length: Until August 2026 (maternity cover contract)
  • Hours: 35 per week
  • Travel: Occasional European travel

Key responsibilities:

  • Review and assess new model designs in CATIA V5 to identify feasibility concerns.
  • Analyse virtual and physical build data to support Design for Manufacture, assembly time and quality targets.
  • Support Virtual Build reviews, feasibility assessments, and concern resolution through established processes.
  • Assist with controlled build activities, part design evaluation, and issue documentation.
  • Contribute to best practice development, benchmarking, and new technology integration.

What we need from you:

  • Strong ability to interpret and assess new model designs in CAD (CATIA V5).
  • Automotive industry experience in manufacturing, engineering or launch.
  • Understanding of component design, assembly processes, lean principles and dimensional management.
  • Structured approach to problem solving and clear issue definition.

Desirable:

  • German language skills (advantageous).
  • Professional institute membership (optional).
