As the V&V Engineer with a luxury vehicle manufacturer you will contribute to the coordination and delivery of dynamic and static vehicle validation events. This challenging role requires an engineer experienced in system testing, validation / verification engineering. You must be comfortable and competent in driving pre-production vehicles, including leading convoys and executing structured test drives. A UK driving licence is essential; advanced driving qualifications (e.g., IAM, RoSPA) desirable.

What’s on offer:

  • Attractive hourly rate (can be outside IR35)
  • 35 hour week – hybrid working – onsite when required (2–3 days per week)
  • Current end date: 30th June 2026

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage detailed event itineraries and drive plans in collaboration with the technical team.
  • Lead vehicle assessments during events, including driving lead vehicles and identifying customer‑relevant concerns.
  • Coordinate and deliver vehicle preparation, concern reporting, tracking, and validation of fixes in future assessments.

Your profile:

  • Proven experience in system testing, validation / verification engineering, with knowledge of at least one key automotive system (powertrain, chassis, ADAS, infotainment).
  • Hands‑on experience with dynamic and static vehicle testing, including familiarity with proving grounds, road routes, and test protocols.
  • Familiarity with data logging tools, CAN analysis (e.g., using Vector tools or similar) and basic diagnostics.
  • UK driving licence – comfortable and competent in driving pre‑production vehicles, including leading convoys and executing structured test drives. Advanced driving qualifications (e.g., IAM, RoSPA) desirable.
  • Experience with tools for itinerary creation, route planning and event scheduling (e.g., Excel, JIRA, or bespoke tools).
  • Ability to travel internationally & in the UK.
