An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Electrical Engineer to join a luxury vehicle manufacturer. Working within a cutting-edge R&D environment, you'll support the development of advanced health and wellbeing features, combining electrical/electronic systems, software, diagnostics and validation activities to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

What's on Offer:

  • Immediate start – contract running until December 2026, with potential extension
  • Primarily onsite, with some flexibility depending on project requirements
  • 35 hour week – Monday to Friday
  • Potential UK test-driving activity and occasional European travel.

As part of a specialist engineering team, you will be involved in the development and validation of new vehicle features from concept through to production. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development of advanced health and wellbeing systems and features
  • System testing, validation and fault investigation.
  • Root cause analysis and diagnostic activities working alongside software and systems engineers.
  • Reviewing requirements and test specifications, executing tests and reporting findings.
  • Supporting the full development lifecycle from requirements through to release and ongoing system support.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Experience with electrical/electronic systems development with a vehicle manufacturer
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and root cause analysis skills.
  • Experience supporting system function development and software maturity activities.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and external suppliers.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Experience using CANoe, Vector tools and vehicle diagnostic tools
  • Knowledge of health and wellbeing technologies, occupant monitoring or related vehicle systems.
  • German language skills.
