An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Electrical Engineer to join a luxury vehicle manufacturer. Working within a cutting-edge R&D environment, you'll support the development of advanced health and wellbeing features, combining electrical/electronic systems, software, diagnostics and validation activities to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
What's on Offer:
- Immediate start β contract running until December 2026, with potential extension
- Primarily onsite, with some flexibility depending on project requirements
- 35 hour week β Monday to Friday
- Potential UK test-driving activity and occasional European travel.
As part of a specialist engineering team, you will be involved in the development and validation of new vehicle features from concept through to production. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the development of advanced health and wellbeing systems and features
- System testing, validation and fault investigation.
- Root cause analysis and diagnostic activities working alongside software and systems engineers.
- Reviewing requirements and test specifications, executing tests and reporting findings.
- Supporting the full development lifecycle from requirements through to release and ongoing system support.
What We're Looking For:
- Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Experience with electrical/electronic systems development with a vehicle manufacturer
- Strong fault-finding, diagnostic and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience supporting system function development and software maturity activities.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and external suppliers.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience using CANoe, Vector tools and vehicle diagnostic tools
- Knowledge of health and wellbeing technologies, occupant monitoring or related vehicle systems.
- German language skills.
