We’re looking for a Lubrication Technician to join a global heavy industrial manufacturers engineering team and play a vital role in ensuring plant reliability and continuous improvement.
As a Lubrication Technician, you’ll take ownership of all lubrication activities across site—ensuring the right oil and grease is applied at the right time, every time. Working closely with the Reliability Engineering team, you’ll help prevent equipment failure and maximise operational uptime. This is a hands-on role requiring initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team.
Key Responsibilities- Apply lubricants (oil & grease) to plant equipment at defined intervals
- Monitor and report oil usage, losses, and stock levels
- Identify and resolve lubrication-related issues and leaks
- Use SAP and reporting tools to track maintenance and defects
- Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards
- Support condition-based monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives
- Engineering experience (desirable, not essential)
- Understanding of preventative maintenance principles
- Understanding around different types of lubrication
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and high standards
- A proactive mindset with a focus on reliability
- Ownership of tasks and pride in high-quality work
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
