As the company's health and safety subject matter expert, key to your role is to protect the health and safety of employees, and ensure compliance to regulations, including ISO 14001 UK Environmental Standards

Your key responsibilities as Group HSE Officer include:
— Providing safety management advice, monitoring and reporting in the workplace, and engaging staff in programs that ensure safe practice in the workplace.
— Conducting investigations into safety incidents and monitoring safety performance (e.g. KPI dashboard).
— Conduct Health Safety and Environment inductions for new joiners and contractors and participate in the identification of H&S training needs analysis throughout the organisation.
— Support the review of contractor RAMS and Risk Assessment statements, and take responsibility for the COSHH register, working with managers and staff to ensure risk assessments are completed.
Your Profile:
— A relevant, up to date qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH either certificate or diploma, IOSH, or equivalent)
— Willingness and ability to travel to other sites, some of which are international, on a regular basis.
— Continuous Improvement experience (5S, Kaizen etc.,)
— Working knowledge of PUWER
— PC literate and confident with the Microsoft suite
