We are currently looking for an Operator to join a heavy industrial manufacturing site in Kent and support the operation of our CHP plant and water treatment systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with utilities, plant operations, or water treatment experience who wants to work in a safety-focused and technically engaging environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring utilities equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Recording operating parameters and maintaining accurate logs (including SAP)
- Supporting the operation of the CHP water treatment plant
- Carrying out routine water sampling and testing to maintain quality standards
- Reporting plant anomalies and assisting with maintenance planning
- Ensuring consistent water supply to CHP demineralisation tanks
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the plant
- Supporting SOP and risk assessment development with senior operators
- Completing daily plant checks and escalating defects where required
- Participating in an on-call rota to support operational needs
