We’re looking for a
Lead Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to take charge of two shift engineers, drive Cap Ex projects, and deliver hands‑on support for PPM and OEE at our AA BRC‑rated site.
- What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a team of engineers to maximise plant availability and performance.
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across the factory.
- Implement cost‑saving initiatives and improve OEE and waste reduction.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Manage contractors and permit‑to‑work processes.
- What We’re Looking For
- Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (Mechanical Bias or Multi‑skilled) – NVQ/BTEC equivalent; HNC desirable.
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skills.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
