We are currently recruiting for an experienced Reliability Engineer to join a leading UK manufacturing business with a strong commitment to continuous improvement, engineering excellence and long term investment in its people.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, driving reliability improvements and making a real impact on plant performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations and driving corrective actions
- Developing and improving preventative maintenance strategies
- Supporting reliability initiatives including vibration analysis, oil analysis and condition monitoring
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
- Managing small improvement projects focused on safety, reliability and operational efficiency
- Using SAP PM and engineering data to identify trends and optimise maintenance activities
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in a Reliability, Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering role within a heavy manufacturing or process environment
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance and condition based maintenance techniques
- Experience with RCFA, FMEA or similar continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills
- A proactive approach with a passion for improving plant reliability
