We’re partnering with a leading service and maintenance specialist to recruit an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer to join their friendly and growing team based in London. This role offers a brilliant mix of hands-on technical work, client interaction, and the opportunity to work with a wide range of commercial systems and equipment.
Duties include:
- Carrying out routine and reactive maintenance on a variety of commercial mechanical and electrical systems (air conditioning and refrigeration).
- Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently and effectively in the field.
- Managing service schedules and maintaining equipment to high standards.
- Delivering top-notch service to clients and maintaining strong relationships.
- Completing service documentation accurately and promptly.
- Occasionally supporting installations and training less experienced team members.
- Staying up to date with industry standards and ensuring all required qualifications and safety certifications are current and compliant.
Skills and experience required:
- A recognised technical qualification (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
- F-Gas certification (2079) – hydrocarbon training provided if needed.
- Previous experience working on commercial systems and field-based service roles.
- A full UK driving licence.
- CSCS card required - (if not training will be provided).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to be part of an on-call rota.
