The KS1 Specialist: Impact Without the Admin

- Infant Years Focus: Lead classrooms through the critical shift from EYFS into the formal National Curriculum, ensuring learning remains high-energy and accessible.
- Phonics Experts: Utilize your expertise in Phonics (Read Write Inc, Little Wandle, etc.) to support early reading and prepare Year 1 for their Screening Checks.
- Work-Life Balance: Reclaim your evenings. Deliver high-impact teaching and leave at the end of the school day with no take-home planning or assessments.
- Weekly Pay: Competitive daily rates of GBP100 - 160 per day, paid every Friday via Randstad.
Your Role as a KS1 Lead
As a Key Stage 1 Supply Teacher, you are the catalyst for classroom engagement, helping small children become big learners.
- Adaptive Lesson Delivery: Facilitate engaging lessons in Literacy, Numeracy, and Science that cater to the shorter attention spans and high energy of 5 to 7-year-olds.
- Bridge the Gap: Support Year 1 pupils transitioning from play, and guide Year 2 pupils toward the independence required for Key Stage 2.
- Classroom Management: Quickly build rapport with new classes, using positive reinforcement to maintain a calm, productive, and happy learning environment.
- Flexible Expertise: Step into different school cultures and immediately implement the day's plan with confidence and professional authority.
