Wymondham College Prep School is looking to appoint a highly committed, enthusiastic and compassionate individual who has an energy and interest in working with whole classes of children, small groups of children and/or in a 1:2:1 capacity, intervening to close gaps in children's subject knowledge and developing their basic skills. Responsibilities:
- Support the complement the professional work of teachers as directed, including working with whole classes, small groups, and 1:2:1 support to close gaps in subject knowledge and develop basic skills.
- Contribute to a positive, caring and inspiring classroom environment and support pupils to engage in learning.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement inclusive practices and respond to diverse learner needs.
Qualifications and Qualities:
- Have previous experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting, in a classroom or similar environment, with evidence of professional growth and training in a range of academic, SEND and social-emotional areas of child development.
- Be committed to high standards of teaching, learning and professional development.
- Be eager to learn, develop and grow as an exceptional practitioner.
- Have excellent communication skills, a warm and caring disposition and a good sense of humour.
- Understand the importance of an inclusive environment, supporting pupils to follow the school’s Good Choice Mantras: Do the Right Thing / Make a Difference / Value Every Voice.
