About The Role

Are you passionate about empowering young people, building essential life skills, and helping students achieve their full potential?

RNN Group is looking for a proactive, collaborative, and highly organised Personal Development Coordinator to join our Student Support team.

In this dynamic role, you will design and lead an engaging programme of activities, enrichment, and events across our college campuses.

You will work closely with students to discover their needs, bridging knowledge gaps and giving them the vital personal and employability skills required to thrive in their careers and life.

Coordination: Design, coordinate, and deliver a comprehensive programme of cross: college enrichment activities, student leagues, tournaments, and personal growth workshops.

  • Partnership and

Collaboration: Connect with external stakeholders and specialist organizations to host guest speakers covering key areas such as road safety, sexual health, and growth mindset.

  • Student Voice Leadership: Lead focus groups and oversee the Students Union Team to ensure student clubs and societies are genuinely driven by the student voice.

Support: Work in a trauma: informed way to create a psychologically safe environment.

Act as triage to identify student barriers and connect learners with internal specialists (Safeguarding, LAC Leads, Wellbeing Mentors).

  • Safety and Compliance: Manage effective risk assessments and ensure all on: site and off: site events comply with standard health and safety requirements.
  • Key Objectives
  • Maintain a highly consistent and high: quality personal development offer across the wider RNN Group.
  • Provide active opportunities for students to develop their Cultural Capital through curated off: site and on: site events.
  • React quickly to local and national trends or risks by initiating discussions and awareness information campaigns.
  • Actively work with key curriculum staff to cultivate positive behaviours and personal progress across all college campuses.

Essential Experience And Qualifications

  • Education Sector: Proven experience working inside an educational environment.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Experience building effective partnerships with external stakeholders.
  • Event Planning: Experience organising, delivering, and reviewing training sessions, enrichment activities, or large: scale events for young people.
  • Literacy and Numeracy: Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (or willingness to obtain).

Desirable Criteria

  • Relevant Qualification: Level 2 or equivalent in teaching, personal training, event management, or a related field.
  • First Aid: A valid First Aid qualification (or willingness to work towards achieving one).
  • Core Skills and Personal Attributes
  • Strong knowledge of Safeguarding, Data Protection, and Equality and Diversity protocols.
  • Ability to work methodically, prioritize multiple tasks, and work flexibly across team boundaries.
  • A high degree of professional integrity, maintaining strict confidentiality while dealing with sensitive student matters.

You will work collaboratively with campus colleagues in both curriculum and student support teams to identify specific student needs.
