CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator : Double Day Shift : Worcester

A GBP 26,667 : A GBP 31,250 basic + 20 shift premium (A GBP 32,000 : A GBP 37,500)

Monday to Friday: 5:30am to 1:30pm

Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm to 10:30pm Friday: 2:00pm to 8:00pm

The Company

Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market:leading machine tool manufacturer that has been at the forefront of the industry for many years.

The Role

• Programming, setting and operating Mazak 4 and 5 Axis machining centres.
• Producing a varied range of highly toleranced components used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
• Using Mazatrol CNC controls to program, edit and improve both existing and new components.
• Working as part of a team within a busy manufacturing environment.
• Working to strict health and safety standards and procedures.
• Supporting a positive culture through involvement in Health and Safety improvements and Kaizen initiatives.

Essential Criteria

• Solid experience of setting and operating CNC machining centres.
• Experience using CNC controls safely and effectively.
• Previous experience working within a busy manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience programming directly from engineering drawings using Mazatrol CNC controls.
• Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship, HNC or similar engineering qualification.
