Jonathan Lee Workforce Solutions are the preferred supplier to Mazak and are seeking a Production Operative within the Machining Department.
Job Description
- Setting and Operating Studer CNC Grinders.
- Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts which are used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
- Understand CNC controls and be able to safely and reliably operate CNC grinders.
- Work within a team of fellow engineers to strict health and safety guidelines and rules.
- Play your part in promoting positive culture amongst staff by engaging in H and S improvements and kaizen initiatives.
Essential Criteria
- Have a solid understanding of operating CNC controlled grinders.
- Can demonstrate and have experience of safely using CNC controls.
- Have a can:do attitude.
- Prior experience working within a team in a busy manufacturing environment.
Desirable Criteria
- Understand and improve programs safely.
- Would have served a mechanical engineering apprenticeship/HNC etc.
