Supporting Prototype Vehicle Development
Location: Woking
Contract Basis: 6‑month contract Inside IR35
Key Responsibilities- Carry out sheet metal fabrication work for the Vehicle Development Workshop.
- Support vehicle builds, rig builds and vehicle testing preparation.
- Manufacture prototype and development vehicle components.
- Interpret engineering specifications and drawings.
- Manage multiple work requests and conflicting priorities.
- Maintain metal fabrication plant and equipment.
- Support Health and Safety compliance at all times.
- Work additional hours, including weekends, when required.
- Highly skilled Automotive Fabricator Welder with extensive hands‑on experience in automotive fabrication and welding.
- Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances, strong proficiency in steel fabrication and thin gauge sheet metal work (1‑2 mm), and expertise in MIG and TIG welding.
- Background in rally car or competition preparation, motorsport bench welding, or general automotive will thrive in this environment.
- Keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver a high‑quality finish are must‑haves.
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
