The opportunity

Our client is on an ambitious growth journey, and their Private Client team is expanding to meet the increasing demand for their services.

There is an exciting project in the pipeline which will significantly increase workload in their Wills and Probate department, so they are looking for a proactive and client-focused Will Writer to join the team.

The Role

As a Will Writer, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and administering wills for a diverse range of clients, including high: net: worth individuals and families.

Working within their collaborative Private Client team, youll provide expert estate planning advice, ensuring that clients wishes are clearly reflected in legally sound documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and advising on wills, trusts, and estate planning solutions.
  • Managing a caseload of both standard and complex wills, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
  • Liaising with clients to provide personalised estate planning advice, considering family dynamics, tax implications, and asset protection.
  • Working closely with our Trusts, Estates, and Tax teams to provide holistic client solutions.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships, offering ongoing advice and updates on changes in the law.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.
  • What Youll Need
  • Experience in will writing, estate planning, or private client law.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring all wills and legal documents are accurate and compliant.
  • A client: focused approach, with excellent communication and relationship: building skills.
  • Ability to manage a high: volume caseload efficiently
  • Technology proficiency, with experience using case management software.
  • STEP qualification or working towards it (desirable but not essential).
