Responsibilities
- Procurement and Negotiation: Consolidate material purchases, negotiate supplier agreements, and leverage group deals for maximum economic benefit.
- Cost Management: Prepare material schedules (CPC1), manage budgets for surveyors, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Project Delivery: Take off materials from drawings, manage tender processes, and coordinate with Site Managers to ensure deliveries align with construction programmes.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and price movements to recommend specification changes that drive savings without compromising quality.
What Weβre Looking For
- Experience: A proven background in a purchasing role, ideally within construction.
- Skills: Commercially astute, highly numeric, and proficient in managing multiple projects under pressure.
- Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Technical and Desirable
- Systems: Proficiency in MS Office; experience with COINS or bid:writing software is a plus.

Qualifications
