An excellent opportunity has become available for a Sustainability Consultant to join an established building services and sustainability consultancy in Birmingham. Working as part of their growing energy and sustainability team, the successful consultant will be taking the lead on a variety of sustainable assessment projects within the commercial, industrial, leisure, education and healthcare sectors.

Qualifications

  • A BSc degree in a relevant environmental or sustainability‐focused subject
  • Relevant BREEAM qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A full UK driving license

Responsibilities

  • Deliver BREEAM assessments, as well as CEEQUAL, HQM, WELL, and Fitwel assessments and certifications
  • Conduct sustainability analysis and reporting, including Net Zero advice, Carbon Life Cycle assessments, and Pre and Post Occupancy evaluations
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on sustainability strategies and environmental performance
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate sustainability principles into building designs and developments
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in sustainability and environmental assessment
