We are looking for a proactive, customer‑focused Sales Executive to generate new business, grow existing accounts and support clients with their training requirements. Location
Office based role in Irthlingborough. Commute‑friendly locations include Wellingborough, Rushden, Higham Ferrers, Raunds, Kettering, Bedford, Northampton, Thrapston.
Role Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities while managing and developing an allocated portfolio of existing customers.
- Build long‑term relationships, identify training requirements and drive revenue growth through both open and dedicated training solutions.
- Engage proactively with new, existing and lapsed customers via phone, email and CRM activity.
- Support customer retention, increase account spend and ensure a high level of service throughout the sales process.
Day‑to‑Day Tasks
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through outbound sales activity.
- Manage inbound and outbound customer engagement across phone, email and CRM platforms.
- Develop existing customer accounts to increase revenue and maximise opportunities.
- Work alongside Business Development Managers to support customer growth plans.
- Identify customer training requirements, produce quotations and coordinate bookings.
- Build strong relationships with key decision makers to drive customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline activity and customer data.
- Support exhibitions, events and wider business development initiatives when required.
Person Specification
- Motivated, resilient and customer‑focused sales professional who enjoys building relationships.
- Confident communicating with customers at all levels.
- Comfortable working towards targets and proactive in identifying opportunities to grow accounts and generate new business.
