An expanding, well-established geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy based near Watford (with multiple offices across the UK) are seeking a driven and experienced geotechnical engineer to join their expanding team. With nearly 50 years of expertise and countless awards demonstrating their reputation in the industry, this consultancy is fully equipped to support a geotechnical engineer through a variety of projects: developing their skills and career in a supportive environment.
The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be provided with:

This Geotechnical Engineer position requires focussed work on a variety of projects. You will be carrying out risk assessments, logging, supervising ground investigations, groundwater and gas monitoring and writing factual and interpretative reports. Client liaison and training junior team members will also be essential.
The successful Geotechnical Engineer will:
- Have a degree in geotechnical or civil engineering, geology, geoscience, environmental engineering or a similar/relevant subject.
- Have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer.
- Have exceptional communication skills, ideally with experience leading a team and/or supervising junior members.
- Hold a valid UK driving licence.
- Be commutable to and around the Watford area.
This is a permanent role.
