About The Practice
We are a well-established NHS and private dental practice based in Kentish Town and Camden, providing high-quality dental care in a modern and welcoming environment. Our practice serves patients across Kentish Town, Hampstead, Highgate, Primrose Hill, and surrounding areas. We offer a broad range of treatments, from general dentistry to advanced cosmetic procedures, using modern equipment and up-to-date clinical techniques. Patient care is at the centre of everything we do, and we pride ourselves on creating a friendly and supportive experience for both patients and staff. Our experienced team includes long-standing clinicians and dental professionals who are passionate about mentoring and developing future Dental Nurses. We have an excellent track record of supporting trainee nurses through their qualification, with previous trainees successfully achieving their NEBDN qualification with structured guidance and in-practice support.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm. Applicants should be available to start 30 minutes before opening time. Weekend availability may occasionally be required.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for someone looking to begin a long-term career within dentistry. Full support will be provided to enrol onto a GDC-approved NEBDN Dental Nursing course while gaining valuable hands-on experience within both NHS and private dentistry. You will work closely with an experienced clinical team and receive practical training in all aspects of dental nursing.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilising dental instruments
- Supporting patients and helping them feel comfortable during treatment
- Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical notes
- Following infection control and cross-contamination procedures
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and health and safety are maintained throughout the practice
