Salary: GBP 92.56 - 95 per day (Weekly Pay)

Responsibilities
- Nurture and Growth: supports a child in achieving early development milestones, such as eye contact and social interaction.
- Personalised 1:1 Support: implement tailored activities to meet EHCP targets, ensuring the curriculum is accessible and engaging.
- Sensory and Visual Learning: utilise tools such as PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), Now and Next boards, and sensory breaks to reduce anxiety and promote engagement.
- Holistic Care: support children with social skills, emotional regulation, and personal care needs where required (full training provided).
- Collaborative Support: work with the Class Teacher and SENCO to create a safe, inclusive, high-energy learning environment.
Qualifications
- Be naturally patient and celebrate small wins while recognizing every child’s timeline.
- Have relevant experience from school, nursery, healthcare, or personal lived experience with SEND.
- Be a strong communicator, able to build trust with young children and maintain professional links with parents and staff.
- Be committed: hold an enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one) and be dedicated to safeguarding and child welfare.
