Working Hours: 38 Hours per week, Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:00 and Friday 07:30 to 12:50. No shift or weekend working.
About the Role: Backer Heatrod are looking for a Temporary Warehouse Operative to join our team working at our site in Farnworth, Bolton. Start date would be immediate. Based in Farnworth, Bolton we are the leading manufacturer of heating elements and associated process heating equipment that is required in domestic and industrial applications. The role will be varied across the warehouse function, supporting despatch, stock control, receiving orders, picking and packing of orders. This busy role requires concentration, motivation and energy; everybody works under pressure to achieve our deadlines. It will involve teamwork within the warehouse and wider production team, so you need to have good communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Goods in and putting stock away
- Picking kits to issue to production
- Receiving finished goods to stock and to send to the customer
- Stock checking as required
- Help to keep the kanbands stocked
- Maintain a clean work area
